Art in Year 2 - Friday 14th November 2025

On Friday 14th November 2025, the Year 2 children had lots of fun learning all about Uluru, formally known as Ayres Rock. 

 

The children learnt some interesting facts, then put their creative ability to the test. Their work has been incredible! Drawing the famous massive sandstone monolith in the heart of the Northern Territory’s arid "Red Centre" from scratch, then using warning colours to create a beautiful picture they can be proud of. 

 

Next week they will finish off the pictures using some aboriginal art.
