Art Lesson in Year 2 - 04.09.25

On Thursday 4th September 2025, the Year 2 children had a super afternoon learning all about light and dark.

 

Firstly, they looked at some old black and white photographs, then the children demonstrated some shading with pencils. Finally, they created a night and day picture in their art books, using vocabulary, such as tone, light, shading, dark and pattern.
