French Independence Day - 14.07.25
Joyeux 14 juillet!
A magnifique time was had by all at St Thomas the Martyr to celebrate French independence day. The juniors built an Eiffel tower with no instructions; well done to Y5 who were the winning class for having the sturdiest and best decorated tower. The whole school from Reception to Y6 learnt about why the French celebrate this day and made cards which were written in French to take home and nursery also joined in, building their own duplo towers and collaging the French flag!
Everyone enjoyed the French themed menu at lunch time and also had the opportunity to have their photos taken with the props. Well done for embracing the French culture St Thomas! FANTASTIQUE!
