Tag Rugby at JMO and Art in the Year 2 class on Tuesday 14th April 2026

Some of our Year 5 and Year 6 sports stars played eight challenging games of tag rugby at the JMO against local primary schools on Tuesday 14th April 2026.

Earlier in the day, the Year 2 children had lots of fun creating the first stage of their Diorama models using recycled boxes in their art lesson. They had previously chose a specific habitat of their favourite animals, and had to design this in their art books.

The classroom became a fun, busy and creative area as the children painted, cut, drew, and stuck animals onto their boxes.

Once completed, they will have created a detailed, imaginative, educational mini world. Most importantly they will have a better understanding of ecosystems.
