Year 2 - Basic Needs of Life - Friday 26th June 2026

On Friday 26th June 2026, the Year 2 children imagined they were marooned on a dessert island and had to decide what things they would need to survive. They talked about the difference between wanting something and needing something as an essential part of survival. They all agreed that essential items would be water, clean air, food, clothing and things to make a shelter.
