Year 3 Vicious Vikings on 11.07.25

On the afternoon of Friday 11th July 2025 the Year 3 children went outside to reenact a battle between the Saxons and the Vikings.

 

Using their shields they made a couple of weeks ago, they performed the famous Battle of Stamford Bridge which was fought on September 25th 1066, near York.

 

There were casualties, but miraculously all were recovered without a scratch to have a play in our school woods.
