Year 5 Art Lesson on Monday 23rd February 2026
On Monday 23rd February 2026, the Year 5 children delved deep into observational drawings.
They first had to study a picture, then make an observational drawing using different tones by using different types of pencils, this makes some parts look 3D.
From this they then had to paint the same picture using watercolours. They had to think carefully about the lines and marks they made, in order to represent 3D and 2D aspects.
