The Year 6 children enjoyed their visit to the Lowry in Manchester on Thursday 16th April 2026, where they watchedThe Boy at the Back of the Class by Onjali Q. Raúf. This heartfelt story about a 9-year-old refugee named Ahmet who joins a London school after fleeing war-torn Syria. Narrated by a classmate, the story follows a group of friends who show kindness, challenge prejudice, and launch a daring, "greatest idea in the world" mission to reunite Ahmet with his lost parents. A spell binding play which brought this amazing story to life for our amazing Year 6 children.
